The god, Tom, told his son, Bob, that he could go anywhere he wanted on earth except for one cave that was extremely difficult to find. Tom only told Bob the name of the cave. It was called Sterling Stone Cave. Bob was curious though and thought that no harm could be done by going in this cave.

So he snuck through his father’s things everyday until he found a map to get to the cave. So Bob traveled to Sterling Stone Cave. There he explored the dark cave until he found light. In this small pool of light was a clarinet. The clarinet was beautiful and made of gold. It was so enticing that he played it.

The music made by the instrument echoed throughout the entire world. All of the people of earth heard it and upon hearing the music they became practically incapable of telling the truth.

Later when Bob returned to his father, Tom was furious. He told his son that he had played on a clarinet that was cursed by the evil god Dave, Tom’s brother. The music made humans who previously only told the truth, become capable of lies. This corrupted the world and it was all Bob’s fault. As punishment Bob was never able to tell the truth again, and he was banished to earth forever.
